Catering Order Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Catering Order Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all catering services provided by Tazuri Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you have any questions, please contact us before confirming your order.

2. Quotations & Booking

  • All quotations are valid for a period of 7 days unless otherwise stated.
  • A booking is only confirmed once we have received a signed acceptance of the quotation or confirmation in writing, along with any required deposit.
  • Minimum order values may apply and will be communicated at the time of enquiry.
  • We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.

3. Menu Selection & Final Details

  • Final menu choices and guest numbers must be confirmed at least 3 working days before the event.
  • We will make every effort to accommodate late changes but cannot guarantee availability after this point.
  • It is your responsibility to notify us in writing of any dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% may be required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 3 working days before the event unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • We accept payment via bank transfer or approved payment methods.
  • Late payments may incur interest or result in cancellation of services.

5. Delivery & Set-Up

  • Delivery times will be agreed in advance and we aim to deliver within a 30-minute window of the specified time.
  • You must ensure there is safe and reasonable access to the delivery location, including parking and entry.
  • Set-up and service requirements will be agreed in writing beforehand.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding deposit).
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may be charged in full to cover costs already incurred.
  • All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us.
  • In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking, we will refund all amounts paid to us, but shall not be liable for any other costs or losses incurred by you.

7. Food Safety & Allergens

  • We operate in accordance with UK food hygiene regulations and maintain high standards of food safety.
  • Allergen information is available upon request. However, we cannot guarantee that our food is completely free from allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination.
  • It is your responsibility to communicate any dietary requirements or allergies when placing your order.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing accurate event details, including delivery location and timing.
  • If you are responsible for providing access to facilities (e.g. kitchens, electricity, water), these must be available and in working order at the agreed time.
  • If you are responsible for serving the food, you must ensure proper food handling and storage once the order is delivered.

9. Tazuri’s Liability

  • We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with these Terms.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our catering services.
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total value of your order.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for failure or delay in delivering services where such failure is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, strikes, supply shortages, or pandemics.

11. Complaints & Disputes

  • We take pride in our service. If you are dissatisfied, please notify us in writing within 24 hours of your event.
  • We will aim to respond and resolve your complaint promptly and fairly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
